I've had a Pils in the secondary @ 38F for about 2 weeks now, and I was thinking about brewing a Sam Adams clone.

Would I be able to raise the temp of my fridge to ferment the new batch w/o affecting the Pils in some way, or should I just brew an ale for the time being?

Any ideas? I was thinking of running to the HBS during lunch to pick up ingredients..

I would brew another lager and raise the temp. to about 45 degrees or however low you can get away with for primary fermentation. The effect on the pils should be minimal and hard to justify leaving the extra room in the fridge.
