I was wondering, I keg my brew, I dont really bottle, but I have an IPA and am going down to visit the folks and my dad wants to try it out. Can I just pour it into a bottle from my keg cap it and be good to go? It wont be flat or anything, b/c itll be about a week from bottle until he opens it.

Chill the bottle first to minimize foam. Be prepared for overflow, 'cause it will. Cap it right away on the foam. Or, find a 1/2 gallon growler, brown preferred. They work great for filling off the tap.

+1 on BM's beer gun. I use the same stopper for my dip tube and bottling, so it was only the price of a racking cane for me (too bad I'd thrown out an old busted one before reading that thread!)
