Bought this keg at the LHBS yesterday and didn't notice the problem with this nipple (hee hee). It is a little bent. Do you think it is too bent to connect the tap line too? I haven't tried it yet because my only tap line is in use.

It doesn't look too bad and could probably be repaired by twisting a flat head screw driver in the groove. If not, it can be replaced pretty cheap. I would definitely check it for leaks and look into replacing it.
 
Try straightening it a bit with a screwdriver, my kegs have some pretty bashed-up posts and still work fine.
 
I'm sitting here trying to figure out what this has to do with "keg connection" and then it hit me. Doh!
