I had this beer last weekend and was absolutely enamored with it. I don't suppose anyone would happen to have ideas for a AG clone of this one? I realize it is a small regional brewery, but I'm hoping one of the PDX area members has taken a whack at it.

If all else fails, does anyone have recommendations on imparting a very distinct vanilla flavor in a good porter? I've read about steeping it in bourbon and adding the split/scraped pod and bourbon to the secondary as one option. I don't really want to pick up the bourbon flavor, so other ideas would be helpful.

Cheers! :mug:

I added pure, real vanilla extract to the keg at kegging, 1 mL at a time until it tasted just over where I wanted it. Imparts an awesome vanilla aroma and flavor to the Porter.
Scored a second place in 1st round of nationals with it 2 yrs ago...
