Just starting out in Indiana

Hello to all, i am new to this forum and of course, brewing beer. I recieved a Mr. Beer kit as a holiday and a friend of mine and I are going to start our first batch this weekend. Im really looking forward to progressing through this, learning alot and hopefully making it a great hobby/passion for life.

Good luck. You are probably already hooked.

Start researching what type of brewing you want to get into and start collecting your equipment so you can get more started. What you can brew in a Mr. Beer kit will disappear very quickly.

I'm a purdue student but I'm moving up to the region next week, looking to start brewing as well, I have heard that kennywood supply in crown point is a good place to get started
