Hey all, I’m wanting to make a peach cider. The last one i tried i used frozen peaches in a muslin bag, but they didn’t impart much peach flavor despite using several pounds of them.

With other straight apple ciders, I have backsweetened using apple juice concentrate. However I can’t seem to find peach juice concentrate. BUT i can find a white grape peach juice concentrate.

So my question is, would the white grape peach work to impart peach flavor or should i use a peach extract? Or would just peach juice be better, either as the base liquid or as a backsweetener?

My 2 cents: I did a very "quick and dirty" peach hooch that used peach juice/syrup from the canned/cupped peaches as well as peach "nectar" from the Hispanic aisle (among other ingredients). It fermented dry but had a nice peach taste when backsweetened. I would imagine that using peach flavored juices and backsweetening with peach syrup would get a good result.
