So I made a hard cider using 5 gallons of apple juice and 2 pounds of dextrose. I used Hefeweizen IV Ale Yeast WLP380 yeast. It's been over 2 months (started on 6/8/08) with one stuck fermentation at 1.030 that was restarted just by swirling the carboy.

It's now at 1.005 and has been for a while. It is perfectly cleared and tastes amazing. :rockin:

I plan on using a secondary for at least 2 weeks before bottling.

My question is... Is it done fermenting? Or do I have another stuck fermentation.

The White labs web page says you should get 73 to 80% attenuation. I think it is done.

Does it have some clove and citrus notes from the yeast?

Yes it does, very lightly, a little more citrus than clove, and you can taste the apples very well. It is the perfect balance of dry and sweet, and at 7.2% ABV, a nice kick as well.

And to anyone else who's thinking about using this yeast, I highly recommend it!
