I did my 2nd brew today. The kit had all the needed ingredients. I realized an hour after putting it in the primary that I had not added the irish moss during the boil as directed. What effect will this have on my beer? I made a pale ale with alot of hops additions. I'm assuming its too late to do anything about it now?

When I remember, I add two or three tablespoons with 10-15 minutes left in the boil. It does work for beers when pellet hops are added during the boil.

For those brews that I forget to add it, they clear just fine with time in the bucket. I have used gelatin a few times after the fact to help clear the ornery ones.

It does not matter whether you clear it or not - it will taste very much the same to almost everyone.
