I've just completed my first attempt at creating invert sugar No. 3 I think I got the color about right but I wonder if the taste is right. I have no idea what it's supposed to taste like. I get a lot of molasses with a slightly burnt, slightly bitter flavor. Is that about right or did I do something wrong?
