First time brewing and was wondering if the results in the photo are normal or possibly an infection?

I has been five days. It's is suppose to be a pale ale. I tasted it and it wasn't terrible. Thoughts?

Looks perfect. Sanitize the lid, put it back on and leave it alone. 3 weeks! Got it?!

Looks normal, but you didn't do your beer any favors removing the lid and taking that picture. Keep it sealed up!

Watch one of those time lapse fermentation videos on YouTube. You'll see what all that mess is from.

Looks pretty normal. Like the others said, sanitize that lid, put it back and and leave it alone. I know the urge to see whats going on inside the bucket, but you dont need to! Better off practicing patience and waiting it out!
