I recently learned about Imperial’s Juicy (A38) Yeast, and the reviews say it produces a lot of fruity, juicy flavors (as the name suggests) and is great for NEIPAs and similar. I am getting ready to make an IPA with Citra, mosaic, and galaxy in the 7-7.5% realm, roughly 75IBU. My original plan was to use Denny’s Favorite (Wyeast 1450) which I have had amazing luck with in the past for the fruitier styles. Does anyone know how A38 and 1450 compare side by side?
