I started my first mead the other day and used a 6ltr tub with secure lid to do my first fermentation. It audibly occurred to me this morning that I may have killed it by putting the lid on securely.
Is this right?
Should I have left it open for air circulation?
I have been stirring everyday and it froths up each time
