Damn recipe says 1.055 og and I get 1.02 20 beers and this has never happened and I do same thing EVERYTIME I brew wth

post the recipe and maybe we can see if something went wrong? How much did you drink while brewing? Did you top off then measure if so how much did you top off? Its possible you got a wine thief sample that was mostly water.

Drank none had 3 gallons in carboy and yes topped of then whirlpooled for two min like always and them took reading
