I'm just getting back into brewing after a 10 year hiatus. At first I just didn't have time, so it kept getting pushed off to next weekend. Next weekend finally arrived last month. I've been lurking here for several years, and never felt the need to post, because, well, there was nothing to post.
I had been talking about brewing for so long, SWMBO got me a TopTier with two burners and a shelf as an early Christmas present and insisted I put up or shut up. I did one extract batch to get my feet wet (drinking it now), and a dry stout and an APA are sitting in the fermenter. Lots of changes to learn, lots that has stayed just the same. Two neighbors have already expressed an interest in learning, so there's lots to teach as well. It's exciting to be back.
