Hi all,
So I know that the old stand by is 1/4 teaspoon of K metabisulfite per 5 gallons, but does any one know how many grams (fraction of a gram) per gallon? I know that this will vary depending upon Ph, but anyone have a ball park guesstimate?

Thanks!

I haven't weighed K-Meta, but 1/4 TSP for 5 gallons is a tiny bit per gallon. What I usually do is mix 1/4 TSP in 5/4 cups (1-1/4 cups) of warm water or must and dose one gallon with 1/4 cup. Or, 1 crushed Campden tablet per gallon is the same thing..
