Hot Liquor Tank Ball Valve

So I have a keggle with a mesh false bottom and ball valve with stainless steel siphon tube that sits below the mesh screen. Do most people have stainless steel siphon tubes in their HLTs so they can drain all the liquid out of the keg?

Yes, mine is simply some stainless rigid pipe with an elbow.
