I am growing some hops this year very new to it and I have a basic question.
I plan on using like a tent stake to secure the rope into the ground and then to a barn wall with the rope running at an angle to the wall. The rope will make a V going up to the wall from the stake. Question is how many shoots do you usually keep from one rhizome? Do I run one shoot up each side of the rope? More than one shoot?
I have about 8 different varieties I am growing. Do I keep one variety to each "v" rope?

2-3 per plant or 2 per rope. Unless you keep them separate, harvesting is a real pain.

2 shoots per rope cool, yeah I dont plan on combinging them I am going to keep them seperate.
Do you train both shoots the same way on each rope then?
