How cold can I realistically keep a frermenter in a cooler with water and ice bottles when the ambient temps are in the low to mid 70's? Can I keep a lager at 50F for 2.5 weeks??? Or am I going to drivemyself crazy with swapping ice bottles???

I think it'd be very tough to keep it at 50 degrees. I can do it, but I"m usually doing it in my basement in 60 degree temps. I think if it's more than 70 degrees ambient, you may have a tough time keeping the temperature stable especially at 50 degrees.
