I been wanting to brew since I was in my early 20's. Never got around to it. But that's all changed now. I started this summer and got 5 brews down. And I love it more than I thought. I like to cook and my brothers and I get together and brew. We transfer to secondary and start a new batch. I started with a Midwest kit. And now I want to start creating my own recipes. So I look forward to meeting you. And hopefully learn a lot from our great brews to our mistakes.

Many of us started with kits and then moved on to developing our own recipes. I still refer to Brewing Classic Styles a lot when I think about beer.

Welcome to the obsession.

Thanks. I think about it all the time now. I mainly like browns porters and stouts. But a good smooth pal ale every now and then is a good reset. I feel a red next brew.
