All,
I got to cleaning things this morning and I had left Oxyclean solution in my SS Brewtech unitank after I racked it off. There is a hard coating on everything! It comes off with a fingernail but tears apart a scrubber. Not sure how to fix this issue. I thought about a vinegar solution but didn't want to ruin anything. Please help.

Any acid rinse, vinegar being cheaper than brewing products, should do the job.

Just a wild ass guess, but maybe a concentrated star san rinse?

Thanks for the reminder, I'm doing a deep oxyclean cleaning cycle today

Sounds like Oxyclean and hard water. Not a good mix.

If you have hard water then don't use Oxyclean.

Use PBW instead and rinse well
