Hello from Maryland!

Hello. I am sitting here enjoying my first self brewed beer. I got a Mr. Beer kit for Christmas and it is finally ready to drink.

It actually turned out great and tastes awesome.

I ahve bought some more recipes from them, but am really interested in getting better equipment and being a little more in control of what my beer tastes like. It was very easy to make though and is very good.

I look forward to lots of advise and making more tasty beer.

Yes. If you enjoy brewing and drinking your beers you will want to step up to 5 gallon batches. Be care-full though. Before you know it you will own a complete all grain brewery and you won't know what hit you.
