Hello from Kansas

Took about a 3 year break from brewing, but have my first brew done and cleaned up. Managed to just about hit my OG (shooting for 1057, got 1058) on a partial mash. SWMBO surprised me with an early valentines day kit on Friday, so I was scrambling a bit to get the numerous spiders and gunk that had set up residence in my equipment. Ended up on my third option for my kettle. Still trying to figure out how to get spider eggs out of the sight glass on my keggle... Feeling exhausted but can't wait to keg this beauty!

Also good to see Kansas breweries getting their kits cloned at the big online shops. I just saw that Hank is Wiser in Cheney got their Porta Pottty Porter on Austin Home Brew's Clone list.
