Hello All,
Fairly recent transplant to Texas. I grew up on Michigan Craft brewers - Darkhorse, Bells, Founders, etc.
I've been lurking on here for several months, reading as much as I can and progressively feeding a budding obsession.
Just brewed my first batch with my buddy on Monday. I got the Midwest Groupon deal with the Amber Ale kit. Did a full boil in a turkey fryer setup and everything turned out really well - it's happily bubbling away in the fermentor as we speak!
This weekend my buddy and I are going to do a batch of mead to see what that's like.
Just wanted to say thanks for all the advice and tips so far!
