Hey guys,
I am headed back to Michigan for the holidays. I will be staying with family around Brighton, and I want to pick up some good local brews to bring back and taste with the guys in my homebrew club. We can't get any Michigan beers here, so stuff like Bell's Two Hearted goes unknown in this area. I am looking to bring some Bell's back, but I would also love to track down some Jolly Pumpkin, Founders, etc. Anyway, I am looking ideally to purchase beers by the bottle so I can get a wide assortment, and hopefully don't run into issues crossing into Canada as we head home to Maine. (I believe I read a case of beer is ok to bring into Canada, but not more). I asked my brother, and his idea of a good beer store is Meijer...so I am looking for suggestions around the westside of Detroit or Ann Arbor. Thanks.
