Hey all,
Yes, I'm fairly new here. Been reading quite a bit & I'm down to the hop growing section.
I have 4 dogs & also heard that hops are deadly to (some) dogs so I searched the hop growing thread to find a TON of threads about this.
Most of the replies said dogs were not interested in the hops. Maybe because of the strong bitterness & smell.
Others said they aren't deadly until after they have been brewed in wort making them sweet and tasty, catching a dog's nose for something to eat.
A few posts were down right jackassy "geesh, not this again" which I understand with every year & with new members the question is asked... but still... people come here to get informed!
Anyways, I must ask,
Why isn't there a hops & dog sticky ?
(these links were in a thread I found searching)
