Hi, my name's Brett, and I live in Murrieta, CA.

After about 15 years away from the sport, I've decided that I need to get back into it. I made a bad batch back then (I don't think the yeast ever took), and suffered years of looking at bottles of 'junk' on the shelves. Equipment got loaned out, moved several times, etc, etc.

NO MORE! I went out last weekend, bought a basic brew kit, a turkey fryer with a pot, and an Irish Red ale kit. Tomorrow I'll be getting a 5gal Better Bottle to rack it into.

Feels good, man.

Welcome back. You'll find much better supply, equipment, and help 15 years later. Good luck, and have fun.

Hombrewing has come a long, long way in the last 15 years. These forums contain a wealth of information. Welcome back to "the sport".
