Greetings all! My name is Todd. I am relatively new to the brewing process. I haven't really done much of anything other than a few Beer Machine and Mr. Beer Recipes (If you can call them recipes) and other than several batches of Absinthe (Macerated, filtered, non distilled), this is new to me. I have chosen this hobby because I like to make consumables that people, as well as myself enjoy (I used work as a Chef), not to mention, I love to have a good quality beverage from time to time. Brewing is definitely a creative process that I tend to exploit and abuse (create and explore) as much as I can in the near future. As new equipment is procured, new creations shall be tested, perfected and most importantly drank.
I have joined this forum in hopes of learning about the art and sharing new, as well as tried and true ideas and methods.
I am looking forward to having a hell of a time!

Welcome to the obsession, Todd. You live about 60 miles from me when I am in KY and I am thru Sommerset about every other weekend as I work in Tn. Got a ticket in Pulaski(sp?) county and had to go to court one time.
When you get into it mabye we can swap some beers for quality control

Welcome ctpuckett! We're not too far from you - up in Cincinnati area. We were actually just down at Lake Cumberland over the weekend with some friends and went through Somerset. Glad to have you around.

Hey! I used to live up that way myself (Florence, Southgate) I do miss the Christian Morlein as well as the great store to get some brews (Jungle Jims, Party Source, etc.) I am glad to be on here. When I finally get the equipment up, I will send my ideas your way (i.e imperial india brown ale)
