Any draw backs to using green bottles? For beer or cider? Is it better for different types like saisons? All these beers come in green bottle so its got me thinking.

Green bottles will allow more light to get to your beer and skunk it. However, if you use green bottles, (which I for some reason love to bottle lagers in...just makes me happy), just make sure they are in a dark box or something. If you can keep the light away, they are the same as brown bottles.

Green bottles are the same as brown. Bottle in a low light spot as usual and your good.
Some beer tastes better with a slight skunk to it.
My best example is Beck's. Its decent beer but if the skunk aroma/taste is gone I dont care for it.
