Glass airlock

At local yard sale this past weekend and picked up some neet stuff. Guy had these old glass airlocks along with older glass carboys in a wooden crate that was labeled bear park Colorado. Guessing these were once used as water jugs, just wondering if anyone has seen these before. He also had a few cases of these flip top bottles

They kind of look like elaborate "tobacco" pipes to me

It would probably end up breaking but I want that airlock.

I did get like 10 of them but idk if they would be safe to ship, they do seem very fragile

cool stuff. Looks lab grade. Probably never intended for beer, but would work great,... if you can keep from breaking them. Me, I wouldn't use them, with my history with fragile glass....

My LHBS sells very similar glass airlocks....you can find them through a google search...

Use caution if you are planning on inserting one of these in a cork. I broke a couple of them in the 1970's when I first started making wine.
