Added Gelatin to a very cloudy and cold (~34f) Pale Ale 2 days ago.. Like half of the carboy appears to have turned to jelly... Top half is clear as glass, bottom half looks like slimy tan funk with a more dense layer right on the bottom.. Will this eventually settle out?

How much gelatin did you use? Did you bloom/mix/heat in a small amount of water before you added?

I use 1/2 of one of the little packets, and do just like you do. I add directly to the keg, so I can't see what's going on in there. Mine always clears nicely while cold-conditioning. I'd say give it some time, I think you're just seeing it start to work.
