What s the max flow of the FTSs pump? I tried zooming in on the picture on the website, but couldn't quite break it out.

Like I say though this is incomplete. Pumps will flow less capacity as the head pressure increases. This may be an estimate for the expected head pressure or it may be a free flow number. Actual flow will be less then stated

Attached is a typical centrifugal pump curve. Without knowing the associated head pressure with the flow it is near worthless.

I went through (2) small pond pumps in my glycol tower before I got one that could even push the required head to start the flow.

I am pricing things out and seeing if I did an Inkbird type controller and bought my own pump what the cost would be. So wanted to price out an equivalent pump.

From what I've found the pumps they use are none other than the cheaper ($8-12) black non food grade versions of the tan drinking fountain pumps many of us use as brewing pumps... the tan versions come in 12v and 24v variaties and can be purchased for as little as $18 with shipping from a variety of vendors... you can even find the exact same balck versions on ebay as well... the tan ones are referred too as the p38I pump... the 24v version isa much better choice than the 12v as its about 1/3 stronger and pumps about 3 gallons per minute

I dont know if you have a harbor freight but they have them locally in stock and have a good return policy if it doesnt work... they have many sizes that Ive bought and used myself in my reef tank and pond.

Good call. I do have a harbor freight nearby. Love that store for non-everyday tools.
