Best idea ever for homebrewers I think are the creation of these establishments that have large number of taps to sample a variety of beers. I have been sampling a lot of fruit infused IPAs lately and am really liking some of them. How are they getting their fruit into these beers? Do they just juice the fruit and throw the pulp and everything in the beer? Do they use extrats or flavoring? I tried a Pineapple wheat a while back and used fresh pineapple but the flavor did not come through so I tried adding pineapple flavoring....big mistake, it tasted like a pineapple beer snow cone. The next time I made it I used pineapple juice and it was way better. Anyone have an idea how these breweries are adding fruit to their beers?
