I made a major mistake today (being distracted during my brew session by my wife ugh!
) I created a mini mash for my partial mash brew. I took the grain out, and sparged it in the brew kettle. Forgetting about the initial mini mash, I took the grain out, and started my boil. Once I cooled my wort, I had a heart attack when I noticed my initial mash was still sitting in my mash tun. i panicked and added it to my wort before adding the yeast. Has anyone ever done this, what should I expect DMS?
