Had a great brew day on Sunday for my festbier recipe, but as soon as I got done with chilling the wort and noticed that it didn't look like egg-drop soup, I realized I freaking forgot the whirlfloc tablet during the boil... I guess I'm lucky that's the only thing that went "wrong," but I really want as much clarity as possible out of this beer.

Aside from the cold-crash, some gelatin at kegging, and the month of lagering I have planned, are there any other steps I can take to help with clarity? Or should those steps be good enough?

That will most likely work. step 2 would be to drink out of an opaque stein and you will never know if it did or didn't.

Gotcha, thanks!

It's not like I was overwhelmed with my hop schedule or anything either... I did an addition at 60 min and one at flameout. Just totally spaced on the tablet at 15. :drunk:

Ha! Perfect solution.
