In short, I've moved from a gravity system to a single tier all grain set up with the use of one pump. I use an Xtreme garage wire rack shelving unit from Menards as a brew stand. So it has other purposes other than just brewing like garage storage(my garage is not massive) . Thus i wanted a pump that wasn't bolted down to a specific spot while I reconfigure my set up and get hit with other garage related things on the shelving. This can sit on the shelf under my cooler mash tun OR go on the floor for easy operation and when not in use be packed up and in a protected "case". I choose milk crates(2 were used) because they are sturdy and plenty of holes for venting so the pump doesn't over heat.
Pretty simple build, i do not have a parts list but by looking at the pictures you can piece together what is needed simple enough.
Something not shown is the 15ft of extension cord that powers the switch/ outlet.
The only thing I will change before i use it is to add an outdoor/ waterproof switch cover for the electrical box. An after thought/ over sight on my part, everything else is water tight with silicone caulk.
Excited to use it next week!
