I kegged my first brew today and when I turn on the gas I have a leak on the out side at the base of the post. It's below where I tighten the post. Is it possible that the post isn't connected firmly into the keg or am I missing a washer somewhere? Any help would be appreciated. I don't want to lose my beer.

It is possible for the fittings that are welded to the Corny to leak. I recently purchased a 3 gallon corny on ebay and it had several leaks in the steel. I had a local welder fix it up for me for $55

This was a very old cornelius keg and I have never seen it before.

Thanks for the replies. I'll change the o ring and hope that does it.
