I'm cold crashing for the first time. I have my carboy in a mini fridge but can't get it to maintain a temperature any higher than about 30-31 degrees F without it turning itself completely off. In the future I want to strip the guts and build my own chamber or at least use an STC-1000 but that is neither here nor there.

I've had my pumpkin ale sitting in there for about 3 days now hoping to clear it up a bit. Any harm in having it get too cold other than the liquid freezing? No signs of ice forming since it isn't pure water. The yeast is Safale US 05.
