First Batch Sparge

I batch sparged today for the first time after fly sparging for more than one year. I added a small amount of 2-row extra and the results were excellent. I shaved many minutes off the brew day with the same efficiency. Life is good. Thanks all for the help.

If the efficiency is the same why did you add more grains?

I just rounded the two row up to the next even pound. The reason was based on somthing I read suggesting you do that on your first attempt to batch sparge to assure a high effeciency. I'll stick with the recipies in the future since the numbers were acceptable.
