I'm planning on trying my first AG batch here soon. I'm a bit concerned because I want to try some of the HBT community recipes, but some of them are larger than my primary fermenter (well...to leave enough head space...i usually do five gallons)...any suggestions of what I can do???

Just scale the recipe down or save any extra wort for startes/priming/cooking.

You could use a blow off tube or get a 7 gal plastic bucket for a primary fermenter
