Faucet Connection for Wort Chiller

Not sure if this is the right place, but seems to be the most frequented.

I need a connection to run my spray handle faucet to my wort chiller. I have pictures of both connections with measurements. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks guys!

I ran into the same issue then decided to go with a pond/fountain pump from home depot or lowes and it comes with fittings to hook it up to the chiller. put the pump in one side of your sink, kettle in the other. Works great!

Just unscrew your sinks current faucet screen and screw in this adapter. From there, your chiller should fit right on there.

Garden hose fittings are 3/4" standard. Most faucet head fittings like that fit 1/2" male threaded fittings.\

I don't have that option due to the fact that my faucet is handheld and looks like this:

Yup, i have the same type faucet and thats when I decided to go the pond / fountain pump route. Give it a try!

Hmm...it was at home depot where the ponds and fountain stuff is. Similar to this but any should do: http://m.lowes.com/pd/smartpond-275-GPH-Submersible-Fountain-Pump/50125821

Mine has the different fitings so the chiller hose connects to it directly. I take a look at it when I get home to get the exact model.

A plus benefit is that when the wort gets to around 85 or so the faucet water is much less effective, with the submersible pump you can run supercooled ice water through it!

it looks like your sink wand has 1/2" female threads.

i bet you could get a 1/2" hose barb that would screw right into it. then you would just slip a length of hose right over the barb.

I did something similar in my shower to help with cleaning the tile/grout.
