This is my second batch I've done, completed it yesterday. After getting it down to 68 degrees I pitched the yeast and tied my hops in a muslin bag and threw them in. Now I'm coming to my senses and realize I should have waited for fermentation to be done. Should I just take the hops out since it's only been a day? Any input would be appreciated.

I'd leave them in there, because what are you going to do with them when you pull them out? Can you get more?

You are still adding aroma to the beer!

Definitely leave them in. I wouldn't try to remove and reuse because you'd have NO way to sanitize it. If after fermentation the flavor and aroma isn't what you wanted, add more!

Yeah..leave them in there. Add more when / if you transfer to secondary...or if you don't secondary just toss more in when fermentation is done.
