This recipe came from BYO September 2011 issue in the Welsh Ale recipes on page 28.


I brewed this at the end of August and just had a pint sample at lunch and didn't want to come back to work. Tastes similar to New Castle. Will post a picture of it tonight when I get home.

Adding this beer to my recipe list in BeerSmith, but it's showing SRM of 20, not 60, but is obviously much darker than 20. Can't figure what's wrong, because I have the ingredients exactly and BeerSmith is spot on for OG and ABV and close enough for IBU's.
 
I can't get enough of this beer. I sent my wife to work with a growler of it for her boss.
 
I am brewing it right now! The store ran out of magnum so I changed it for chinook, I hope I don't ruin it.
