I have brewed a few batches of a Bass Ale clone using 6# of light DME and they have all came out great. The question I have is that when it sits in the fermenter for a bit there is some sediment which is sort of cloudy/ mucky. Actually at the bottom of the fermenter there is quite a bit of sediment, almost as much as an AG batch. Is this stuff just the DME/sugar solids or something like that?
