PICKERING
Gone through a couple of brews with my DIY AC Glycol Chiller and I'm quite pleased with the performance. That being said, I wish it was a tad quieter, especially the condenser fan. Has anyone tried to replace this fan with something quieter? I assume that the stock fan was sized to ensure adequate cooling in hot, outdoor summer temps. Given that the AC unit is in my basement where it doesn't really go above 75F, I think the fan is essentially oversized for the new purpose.

I'm thinking of potentially using multiple computer type fans in an array, attached to the condenser coil to replace the single factory fan. Not sure what the resultant sound difference would be, but just starting to ponder this.
