Don't know that there is a difference, but I think there is desirable and undesirable cloudiness. For me, bad haze is when a cold beer is cloudy but clears up as it warms. Good or expected cloudiness is a result of dry hopping, wheat in the grain bill, or a poor flocculating yeast. In these situations cloudiness will remain with warm or cold beer.
