I brewed up a Breakfast Stout yesterday and put the fermenting bucket in the closet. I put it in a water bath thinking it would keep the temps more consistent. Today, about 26 hours later, I checked the temp and it was 52 deg. I pulled it from the bath and put it on the floor with the room temp at about 62-63 deg. Should I do anything else? I.E stir it?

Thanks!:mug:

52F is getting right down there. I'm betting they're probably a little drowsy. It will take a while to get them riled up again so just be patient. You might rouse the yeast some by gently shaking your fermenter, no splashing. Cheers!!!
