Hey everyone,

I'm from Denver, and just recently started homebrewing (since just before Christmas). I'm using the Mr. Beer kit (don't knock it 'til you've tired it!), but have already started steeping and doing partial mashes.

I did a Belgian the other day to celebrate at the birth of my child-to-be (my first) I named it Naderschap: Flemish for nearest blood relative. I can't wait for the birth of my baby and to taste this beer. I used WLP500 to brew it and it looks GOOD!

Awesome name! I hope you've picked one or two names out for the kid as well, though I'm sure SWMBO has some say in that one... ;)

I've heard that Mr. Beer works great as a fermenter and some people keep it around as a bottling bucket, but that you have to be careful when you clean it because it scratches fairly easily... that's what I heard, anyways!

Cheers!
