Finally taking the step forward after 4 years of bottling and I'm gonna purchase a kegerator, but was looking for a few opinions on the quality of these brands first.

I'm somewhat of a DIY'er and plan on converting the single tap into 3 taps to help save a little on the cost of upgrading to a larger tower. I would convert a chest freezer but do not have the space for it right now. From looking at some other websites like Walmart, I found that the Haier is a 6.4 cu ft. while the Danby is 5.8 cu ft. I think either one is big enough for 3 ball locks, correct?? I guess the only other difference besides the reputation of the brand would be the digital temp control on the Danby vs. a manual dial on the rear of the Haier.
So is it worth spending an extra $50 on the Danby over the Haier for these differences? Does one brand have a better history of lasting longer than the other?
Any help or additional information would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers!
