I spent the last couple months experimenting with my food dehydrator, and gave away a very fragrant bowl of fruits yesterday. I loved seeing all the smiles! But it also reminded me of something from a long time ago. There was this family recipe (maybe? it might have just been store-bought salad dressing and I was lied to) for a marinade that's really good with cucumbers. The marinade was like Italian dressing... this was 30 years ago and I have no relation to anyone that would know of or remember it anymore.

So I figured I'd experiment. Italian dressing marinade, and the dryest cucumbers I can find. Then after they absorb enough flavored moisture, dehydrate them into chips. I also want to do something with some dehydrated snow peas, maybe garlic-brine? I'm not sure, and am up for suggestions.
