Never brewed one. My wife had her first last weekend, and now is requesting I brew her one. I came up with this after a bit of research.

5 gallon batch

7 lbs Maris Otter
.5 lbs Crystal 60L
.5 lbs Carapils
.25 lbs Biscuit
.25 lbs Special B

1 oz Brewers Gold 60 minutes
1 oz Fuggles 15 minutes
1 oz Fuggles 5 minutes

Wyeast London ESB Ale

Mash at 152.
60 minute boil.

Thanks for your time!

I agree, it looks great - pretty darn similar to mine actually. You probably do not need the biscuit, but it certainly will not hurt - marris otter is enough for me.

You may wind up with more of a best bitter, depending on the gravity - but nothing wrong with that either. I think you've got a winner.
